Officer Richard May, Jr., East Palo Alto Police Department, lost his life in the line of duty on Saturday January 7, 2006. Officer May had been with the East Palo Alto Police Department for 18 months and a veteran of law enforcement for 15 years, previously with the Lompoc Police Department.
